Sahara is a fully-qualified Yoga and Exercise to Music Instructor, based in London UK.
She recently completed training to teach Children Yoga adding to her broad Yoga experience.
She is a First Aider and is DBS checked with Insurance.
From starting out as aerobics instructor, Sahara made the smooth transition to Yoga. She began to introduce Yoga into her classes to give her clients a more holistic experience. Many of her clients had experienced trauma from war or other unsettling situations and Sahara saw Yoga as a powerful healing tool.
Sahara has worked with British Military Fitness (BMF) and Home Straight as a warm up instructor for people in recovery from running races and climbing mountains in Wales.
She has led yoga retreats abroad, and also worked with several charities and organisations, including:
Change, Grow, Live, creating wellbeing classes for staff members;
Camden Active and the British Sports Council, teaching a range of physical activities;
Moving For Minds, an organisation focused on improving the lives of the African Diaspora, teaching Hatha Yoga and Chakra Meditation;
Tate Galleries, teaching yoga to art lovers.
Sahara currently works in London as a cover teacher for the Holistic Yoga sessions at Dolphin Square and as the primary Yoga and Wellbeing Practitioner at Westminster Adult Education Services (WAES) and Open Age.
