NURTURING MIND BODY SPIRIT

Sahara is a fully-qualified Yoga and Exercise to Music Instructor based in London, UK, with a deep and varied background in the wellness field. She completed specialized training with Kidding Around Yoga in 2021, which beautifully complements her extensive experience in teaching yoga to diverse age groups. Additionally, Sahara is certified as a First Aider, DBS checked, and holds comprehensive insurance, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all her students.

Her journey began as an aerobics instructor, from which she made a smooth and natural transition into Yoga. Recognizing the profound benefits of Yoga, she started incorporating it into her classes to offer her clients a more holistic and enriching experience. Many of these clients had faced trauma from war or other distressing life circumstances, and Sahara recognized Yoga as a powerful and transformative healing tool, helping to restore balance and peace.

Sahara’s professional career includes working with prominent organizations such as British Military Fitness (BMF) and Home Straight, where she served as a warm-up instructor for individuals recovering from running races and mountain climbing expeditions in Wales. She has also led yoga retreats abroad and collaborated with a variety of charities and organizations, including Change, Grow, Live—creating wellbeing classes for staff members; Camden Active and the British Sports Council—delivering a wide range of physical activity sessions; Moving For Minds—an initiative aimed at enhancing community wellbeing, where she teaches Hatha Yoga and Chakra Meditation; and the Tate Galleries, where she taught yoga to art enthusiasts.

In 2024, Sahara successfully led an impactful workshop titled The Five Pillars of Holistic Health for Menopausal Women, funded by Pimlico Million, reflecting her commitment to addressing diverse health needs through yoga. Presently, she practices as a Yoga Practitioner in London, specializing in Yin Yoga and Pilates at Dolphin Square. She has also served as the primary Yoga and Wellbeing Practitioner at Westminster Adult Education Service and is the lead Yoga Instructor at Churchill Gardens Resident Association, where she facilitates engaging classes and programming to foster community wellbeing and connection.
